Walgreen's is a disgrace to the pharmacy business. (I've been on the other side of the phone/window). I was recently exposed to covid and had to take the mandatory 5 days quarantine until I got the results for my covid test as negative and my then broke my tooth off because it's old and messed up. Yeah because putting 40 pills in a bottle is a tough, time consuming job. I was without my meds for over a day (extreme pain etc) They are definitely bad news, very unethical. At the end of the day, Pharmacy isn't a chemistry degree - it has other components like biology and biochemistry. CVS has their share of problems, but Walgreens is just unbearable . I noticed there were only 2 meds as opposed to the 3 written by my doc. I'm not really sure exactly what that judgment was, but I got the feeling he thought I was some crack head trailer trash bimbo who was trying to scam him (I was really very sick and needed a refill of antibiotics for my daughter who takes antibiotics every day for the asplenia that accompanies her complex congenital heart disease. Also, let's say you want to invest in this company and make it a career. Wegmans' number one priority is customer service. Otherwise, I might use them because it would just be easier for daily use. The counter staff is nice but nothing special. Lazy as in they get a list for themselves and pawn off a bunch of their work onto you. They want their customers to be happy, so they know they need to keep lots of employees. I'm almost certain they should have been $5.55 PER POUND for the markdown, but each package was marked $5.55. Also every time I go there, in St Paul, a patient is always disgruntled and frustrated. Always leaving costumers with out medication. The only people who get any recognition are the management in forms of bonuses that no one else sees. They are grossly understaffed! NEVER WILL I FILL ANOTHER Rx at Walgreens! The manager also never talks to you in person about your performance but youre supposed to check off on it online as if you have discussed it or "be taken off the schedule." I dont know where they get these pills from but they dont work like name brand at all. I went in to get another emergency supply while they get doctor auth. If you are in the number one photo store in the district, most managers let you just take care of photo but you always have the crazy ones who still expect you to wait on photo customers every five minutes, take care of their photo orders AND stock the cooler AND stock the shelves AND whatever list that is neverending.
