Survivors include his wife, Vicki Knapp; his son, William Andrew “Drew”; his daughter, Andrea Suzanne, and Holly Knapp, (Drew’s mother), former wife and good friend.

Andy is additionally survived by his six siblings: Andrea, Suzanne, Karen Dahl (Tarpon Springs, FL), Eric, Christopher, and Gregory. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, William Andrew and Joyce Knapp.

Andy was born September 13, 1959, at Tachikawa Air Force Base in Japan. Coming from a military family, Andy lived in many places including Montgomery, Alabama; Reno, Nevada; Rapid City, South Dakota; Minot, North Dakota; Rantoul, IL and then settled in the Denver area when his father retired from the military.
